Day 10 Advent Beer Box Weihenstephaner Hefe Weissbier

Tonight we enjoyed American's oldest brewery (Yuengling) with a tour and a dinner that my office co-sponsored and came home to enjoy a beer from The World's oldest brewery!

Tonight was Weihenstephaner Hefe Weissbier and it was okay.  Not Todd's favorite, not my favorite either but it we absolutely still drank it~

This one comes from Germany and is a Hefeweizen .... it is a golden yellow wheat beer.

Beer Advocate gives this one a 98!  Seems like Beer Advocate really likes the ones I'm not overly crazy about!

This particular brewery has been brewing beer since 1040!  This started in the Weihenstephaner Monastery Brewery.  In 1921 the brewery got its name Bavarian State Brewery and has used the great seal of the Bavarian State as its logo since 1923.

There's definitely a lot of history in the brewery!  Check it out!  They brew several different beers as well!

This post is going to be rather short, we are traveling this weekend and without a charger I am trying to blog!  I'm already a day behind so I'm going to get this one posted so we can move on!
